Vinod is our senior advisor. He is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and expert witness, ensuring that both our clinical experts and Fee Earners who instruct us have a paramount level of service.
Practising since 1979, Mr. Kathuria trained in the Army, and began his medico-legal practice in 1990. He is fully conversant with all legal requirements and modern reforms. Mr. Kathuria has a full understanding of the requirements and timely turn around of court compliant reports and he works with the clinical team to ensure quality compliance for all cases through to report creation.
Dr David Capehorn joined our offices as a Clinical Advisor to further develop our inhouse expertise, to include paediatric A&E and GP enquiries. He has been responsible for identifying the specialty and experience required of Experts for complex and high value cases, as well as quality control for medical reporting, for other organisations and has brough those best practices with him.
Dr. Capehorn has been at the forefront of work on the interface between primary and secondary care paediatrics for over thirty years. Having combined his work as Honorary Associate Specialist in children’s emergency medicine in Bristol with his work as a GP in Gloucestershire, he has been involved in development of innovative new services throughout his career.
He won an NHS innovation award for the primary care paediatric service he founded in 2003, providing advice and local clinic support for GPs. Dr Capehorn and his team took thousands of referrals per year, with the emphasis on keeping paediatric management within primary care. In addition to his practice, he has worked as an author and educator, publishing the first symptom based textbook on paediatric accident and emergency medicine. He also formed part of the clinical guidelines group for Bristol children’s hospital. Latterly in his career, as well as clinical work, he has been working as a GP educational supervisor and NHS England appraiser, as well as a keynote speaker and lecturer in paediatric primary care.
Mr. Sinha is a practicing Orthopaedic Surgeon and joined Tula as a Clinical Advisor in late 2023. As part of the clinical leadership team, Mr. Sinha nominates Experts, and reviews medical reports to assist with the quality control of clinical evidence to instructing parties. In addition to advanced specialisms in knee and hip surgery, Mr. Sinha brings a larger experience in patient safety and best practices, including as a Clinical Director in a major Trauma Centre, to help on instructed and ad hoc queries across a range of disciplines.
Mr. Chin is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) & Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists. He was appointed as Clinical Lead for Gynaecological cancers at Stafford General Hospital, and currently member of the Gynaecology Oncology MDT at University Hospital of North Midlands. And as a leader in patient safety and clinician reviews he is a RCOG Examiner & AAC Representative, and National Appraiser for Ramsay Health Group. He has also been a local Principal Investigator for National & International RCTs including CHORUS, ARIEL, ASTEC, ECLIPSE, MEDAL & OPT Trials.
Mandy leads the pagination department and has over 15 years experience in analysis of medical records and documents, working in all areas of clinical negligence and injury including, serious injury, multi-trauma, brain injury, spinal injury and catastrophic injury.
Mandy can advise on all medical records analysis and interpretation, and often works with instructing parties on tailoring a service that best serves them.
Mandy brings extensive experience in the NHS as a RGN, with her last role being as a Sister in Coronary Care. Her experience includes focus on patient safety including tutoring on infection control.
Joanne has been part of the transformation at Tula to a fully digital pagination department, and in addition to a rounded experience in medical records analysis has 35 years experience in the NHS. She brings a wealth of practical experience in patient treatment standards, with her last role in the NHS being that of a Associate Director of Nursing at a major hospital.
Liz is a Nurse and Midwifery Analyst with over 35 years of experience in nursing, midwifery, and healthcare management. She has held a range of active practice and leadership roles, including Risk Manager and Head of Clinical Audits.
With a strong background in both practice and management, Liz specialises in the analysis and interpretation of medical records, supporting instructing parties with tailored insights. Her expertise in risk assessment and clinical audits ensures a meticulous approach to reviewing cases across a wide range of medical and maternity-related matters.
Julie manages medical records for Tula, coordinating with the various teams to ensure that records and radiology are received, organised, and transferred securely. She was previously working in the same capacity for a nationwide firm for over 10 years and her previous experience includes as a Litigation Assistant. Julie keeps upto date with best practices and works with our Operations Team to advise on new technology and software to allow instructing parties to trust Tula with their medical records.
Tilly has over five years of experience working in operational roles within the teleradiology sphere. At Tula, she focuses on the retrieval of records and radiology, ensuring that all relevant documents are received for a smooth process with Experts and instructing Fee Earners. Tilly is dedicated to streamlining operations and is always looking into new software solutions to enhance efficiency and improve the overall workflow.
Rachel began her career at Irwin Mitchell Solicitors within the new and existing enquires team and later progressed to the role of Litigation Assistant within the Clinical Negligence Department.
Rachel then moved into the Medico-Legal field, working as a Medio-Legal Administrator for Experts of various specialisms, where her role was to facilitate the progression of Medico-Legal reporting on instructed matters for Clinical Negligence Claims.
Having gained knowledge and insight into both the Legal and Medico-Legal sides of the process of Clinical Negligence claims, Rachel returned to the Legal field, and prior to joining Tula Medical Experts as a Medical Records and Radiology Coordinator, she was fulfilling the role of a Clinical Negligence Fee Earner, responsible for a muti-value case load.
Emma is a Nurse Analyst with 20 years of experience in nursing across NHS and Independent Provider Services, with extensive experience across acute and community nursing services. Emma has 3 years’ experience in Medico Legal practice as a nursing expert witness.
Her nursing experience includes focus on Critical Care and General Nursing practice and Patient Safety, including patient safety investigation, risk management, and clinical governance standards, with her last role being that of a Head of Clinical Governance and Safeguarding Executive Lead. Her expertise enables a diligent and conscientious approach to reviewing cases spanning a wide range of nursing and medical matters.
Ashlie is a Nurse Analyst with extensive experience across acute and community healthcare settings, bringing a broad and well-rounded clinical perspective to the team.
Prior to joining Tula, Ashlie worked as a District Nursing Team Leader, where she provided strong clinical and operational leadership to multidisciplinary teams delivering complex care in the community. Her role involved staff development, performance management, and service oversight, with a clear emphasis on clinical governance, quality improvement, and excellence in patient care.
Ashlie holds a Postgraduate Specialist Practitioner qualification, demonstrating advanced clinical expertise, leadership capability, and commitment to high standards of professional practice. She brings advanced clinical judgement, strong analytical skills, and an evidence-based approach, supporting high-quality work while maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and accuracy.
Sarah is an experienced Nurse Analyst with a strong clinical background in Critical Care and Anaesthetics, complemented by specialist experience in respiratory nursing, community healthcare, and Nursing Standards. Her diverse career has provided her with extensive clinical knowledge across a wide range of healthcare settings.
Throughout her practice, Sarah has demonstrated excellent clinical judgement, a commitment to high professional standards, and a thorough understanding of clinical governance and evidence-based practice. Her broad experience enables her to critically assess complex clinical issues while maintaining a focus on quality, safety, and best practice.
Sarah also brings over two and a half years of medico-legal experience, applying her clinical expertise to the objective review and analysis of healthcare records. Her combination of clinical insight, analytical skills, and attention to detail allows her to provide well-informed, high-quality support within the medico-legal field.
Keely joined Tula as a Junior Case Executive. After studying Law and Criminology, Keely has worked in both business administration and healthcare including patient facing roles. Keely brings a dual understanding of law and administration around patient care to help us keep best practices in our processes with medical evidence and other medical services.
Georgia joined Tula soon after completing her Law degree. She has years of previous experience working in client facing environments with a focus on delivery, and uses that experience in her role as Case Executive to project manage the delivery of clinical evidence.
Before joining Tula, Cerys trained as a paralegal for 2 years at a national law firm in the injury department, managing her own case load. Cerys brings to the team a further understanding of fee earner requirements, and the importance of taking the responsibility for quality deliverables on time.
Megan brings to Tula a strong foundation in quality control and customer engagement, complemented by a keen attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Her academic background in Law and Forensic Psychology gives her a unique perspective on how systems work and how people think and interact. This blend of insight allows Megan to contribute meaningfully to team effectiveness and ongoing process improvement.
Alice joined Tula after graduating with an Honours degree in Criminology. Having worked through her university days in a client facing role, she brings a knowledge of systems and customer service best practices to help instructing parties receive the best possible deliverables for the clients.
Alice plays a key role in the Case Executive Team, making all clients feel that their case is being treated with due care and attention.
Kartike founded the company and helps run the operations to support the work of our very talented in-house doctors, lawyer and nurses.
He studied Law at King’s College London, and after a masters in Law pursued a legal career in Mergers & Acquisitions and then International Development.
Kartike set up the business with the singular guiding principle that this is a business for medical and legal professionals, by medical and legal professionals
And as such much of his duties are around creating and maintaining the technological and compliance infrastructure, so that the substantive work of Tula is led by a clinician and support staff with decades of experience and expertise in clinical negligence & catastrophic injury.
With a wealth of experience since 2019, Abbie Loveitt is an accomplished HR professional who has played a pivotal role in building HR departments from the ground up. Holding both Level 2 and Level 5 CPD qualifications in Human Resource Management, Abbie also brings a keen eye for quality as an ISO 9001:2015 Auditor. Her background spans not only HR but also includes managing marketing and quality departments, showcasing her versatility and dedication to driving organizational success. With nine years of experience in the finance sector, Jessie is a dedicated professional, passionate about delivering financial solutions that drive success. Currently Level 2 AAT qualified, she is actively pursuing further studies to develop her expertise and stay ahead in the ever-evolving finance landscape. Throughout her career, she has developed a strong foundation in financial receivables, projects, and reporting, which Jessie will apply within Tula to support the continued sustainable and planned growth.
Michelle joined Tula to build on her successful career in client relations, most recently working at a regional accounting firm with multiple offices.

Nick holds Data Protection Officer roles in organisations within various sectors including healthcare and charity. Having been in business for 35 years mostly at board level, Nick brings a pragmatic approach to data protection and tries to demystify what can be seen as highly complex legislation.
Aqeel is an experienced IT Quality and Testing Manager responsible for ensuring that all IT systems, applications, and infrastructure meet defined quality, performance, and security standards across the organisation. He leads the planning, execution, and coordination of testing activities to support reliable system delivery and ongoing operational excellence.
Aqeel identifies, logs, and tracks defects using tools such as Zendesk, working closely with IT teams, software vendors, and cloud service providers to ensure timely resolution. He performs system validation, data integrity checks, and security and compliance testing to maintain high standards of reliability, confidentiality, and performance across the complete IT environment.
He documents test results, produces quality and risk reports, and provides clear recommendations to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
